Through the competition platform independently developed by the technical support unit, relying on distributed cluster deployment, the Web technology competition provides a regionalized and isolated competition environment for online competitors. Under the premise of guaranteeing matching with the offline competition mode, it gives full play to the characteristics of the online competition, cooperates with the detailed operation teaching video and expert guidance, and combines with the enterprise standard research and development process and automated scoring technology to provide the same English competition conditions for both domestic and foreign competitors. It provides the same English competition conditions for domestic and foreign participants, and builds a standardized, normalized, efficient and convenient competition system.

At the same time, in order to further standardize the online remote competition and limit the operability of the contestants under this competition mode, the Web technology competition is broadcased live through teleconferencing and set up local and remote recording, and at the same time, online referees are arranged to supervise the examination one-on-one, so as to ensure the fairness of the competition.

In this Machine Learning and Big Data (MLBD) competition, the design of the competition questions draws on and integrates the advantages of the global mainstream machine learning and big data-related competitions, and the whole competition is designed as a complete real project, in which the participants need to complete a series of consecutive competition modules ranging from the preparation of the big data environment, data preparation and establishment of a data warehouse, data analysis and visualization, and machine learning, etc., and the relationship between the modules is At the same time, the dataset of the competition adopts the dataset in the real production environment, and the scale of the largest dataset reaches 71 million, which fully examines the practical ability of machine learning and big data engineering projects of the contestants.

The competition platform was developed based on a globally available public cloud platform, and advanced technologies such as serverless architecture, data isolation, encrypted transmission, authentication certificate access, remote desktop monitoring, etc. were adopted to ensure the stability and security of the competition. In order to guarantee the adjudication and technical support of the competition, the remote adjudication center and technical support center were specially established, adopting intensive one-to-one remote adjudication, and the contestants in the process of the competition were in full compliance with the instructions of the remote adjudicators to regulate the participation, and the whole process had a number of front and rear cameras plus screen video for security protection.
