On June 25, the Chinese delegation visited cotton spinning enterprises in Mato Grosso State to understand the current development of the local cotton industry and explore the innovative training model for industrial technicians.

At a local cotton farm, the delegation visited cotton fields and engaged in discussions with Alexandre Pedro Schenkel, President of the Brazilian Cotton Producers Association (ABRAPA), on topics such as smart agriculture, drone pest control, and full-process product traceability using blockchain technology.

图片On June 26, the Chinese delegation visited the SENAI Technical College (National Service for Industrial Learning). Mr. Silvio Rangel, President of the Mato Grosso State Industry Federation (FIEMT), lawyer, economist, and Chairman of the Mato Grosso State Bioenergy Industry Alliance, as well as Executive Director of the Bararco Bioenergy Plant, welcomed the delegation and introduced the state’s investment policies, incentives, business environment, and cooperation opportunities.

He mentioned that the relationship between China and Mato Grosso has a long history, strong foundation, and close ties. The economic complementarity is evident, and there is great potential for cooperation. Mato Grosso is one of the largest states in Brazil's Midwest, with vast land and abundant resources. It is the largest exporter of bulk commodities in Brazil and a major grain-producing region. Its production of beef, soybeans, corn, cotton, and other products ranks among the highest in Brazil. In addition to agriculture, Mato Grosso also offers numerous cooperation opportunities in infrastructure, logistics, trade, technology innovation, renewable energy, and finance. He expressed hope that both sides could strengthen exchanges through this competition and promote cooperation in areas such as technological innovation, fostering mutual development.

The Chinese delegation, under the theme "BRICS+ Outcomes Design to Support the International Expansion of Chinese Enterprises and Vocational Education," introduced BRICS+ outcomes to the Brazilian representatives. These outcomes include the establishment of the BRICS Standardization Working Committee for Skills and Technology, the development of group standards, and the promotion of mutual recognition of standards; cooperation on future skills training bases to cultivate skilled talent; regular hosting of the BRICS Auditorium of Skills Development and Technology Innovation to conduct technical and theoretical training; using competitions as a form of training, with continued BRICS Competitions and the promotion of the BRICS Academy and Resource Service Centers to further support the successful practice of international industry-education integration.
