On the afternoon of January 5, 2023, Fu Jing, Executive President of Xiamen Torch University Hall, and Luo Yingying, Head of Academic and International Affairs Department, visited and researched BRICS Academy of Future Skills Development and Technological Innovation(Xiamen).
Each side introduced the development history, business structure, and the achievements made in 2022. Among them, President Fu Jing introduced the business contents of the three sections of Torch University Hall, namely industrial education (training), industrial research (think tank) and industrial exchange, and the achievements in 2022, including building a think tank of top teams, organizing training courses, forming a "business school at home", publishing books, and so on.
At the same time, the leaders of the institute led two guests from Torch University Hall to visit the institute. On the one hand, they introduced the construction background, business scope and project achievements of the institute, including the focus on technical skills research, development and standardization; international technical skills training and talent platform construction; competition instead of training and continuous BRICS competitions; international cooperation, research and technical exchanges; and the transformation of research results, incubation and exhibition display, and other key points of the institute's work. On the other hand, it shows the achievements of the Institute in 2022 in BRICS Vocational Skills Competition, BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition, standardization work, BRICS Auditorium, training, base construction, etc., and also introduces the work plan for 2023.
After in-depth communication and exchanges, President Fu Jing hoped to start the in-depth cooperation of "going out" and "bringing in" with our institute in education and training. President Liu Zhenying of our institute affirmed the development and achievements of Torch University Hall and proposed that: firstly, the method of starting from the level of executives of the organization to carry out theoretical training, and then to the level of technicians to carry out practical training is correct, and we hope that we can establish cooperation in the areas of technical skills and practical training, etc. Secondly, we can work together to plan the BRICS and BRICS training programs. Secondly, we can jointly plan the BRICS and BRICS+ countries' route study tours to carry out international cooperation, technical exchanges and talent training.
