The Eurasian High-Tech Open 2022 (hereinafter referred to as "the Open") was successfully held on November 7-11, with over 500 players, experts, team leaders and official delegations from 16 countries, including Belarus, Brazil, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe, China, etc., participating in the competition, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe, China, a total of 16 countries, more than 500 players, experts, leaders and official delegations participated in this competition. The Open was divided into two phases: a training camp and a long-distance race, with the training camp held online from October 14th to 31st. Affected by the epidemic and in order to facilitate the participation of international players, the competition was held in a remote participation mode combining online format and on-site. Dr. Liu Zhenying, Chairman of the BRICS Business Council (China) Skills Development Working Group, delivered a speech at the Opening Ceremony, making an important statement on China-Russia bilateral cooperation, and humanistic exchanges.
The Open Competition was jointly organized by the Russian Agency for Skills Development and the BRICS Business Council Working Group on Skills Development. The BRICS Business Council (China) Working Group on Skills Development, the Belt and Road and BRICS International Alliance for Skills Development and the Xiamen BRICS Institute for Future Skills Development and Skills Innovation were responsible for organizing Chinese teams to participate in the training camps and competitions. Thirty experts and competitors from five schools, Nanjing Information Vocational and Technical College, Xiamen City Vocational College, Guangdong Construction Vocational and Technical College, Xiamen Institute of Technology, and Shandong Electric Power Higher Specialized School, participated in five competitions, namely, Enterprise Information System Security, Graphic Design, Network Security, Electrical Installation, and Robotics System Integration, and achieved two silvers and two bronzes.
The 2022 BRICS + Eurasian Skills Remote International Competition is an important part of the Russian sub-competition of the BRICS Competition, which is divided into three major phases: the BRICS Future Skills and Agricultural Skills Remote International Competition, the (Russian) BRICS + Eurasian Skills Remote International Competition, the Future Skills Micro-degree Education and Training Program and the Eurasian High-Tech Open Competition and BRICS Skills Challenge, which is a result of the design of the remotely distributed international training and competitions and One of the best practices. The Russian organizers opened remote international training camps for each event to comprehensively improve the skills of competitors. The successful organization of the Competition fully implements the concept of "promoting training by competition, promoting training by competition", strengthens humanistic exchanges and friendly communication among BRICS countries and other emerging markets and developing countries, and is conducive to the improvement of the education and skills training systems of BRICS countries and other emerging markets and developing countries, as well as the promotion of the development of vocational education.
