From August 15th to 18th, the Belt & Road and BRICS Countries Curriculum Development, Standards Formulation, and International Training Base Construction Seminar was successfully held at the BRICS Academy of Skills Development and Technology Innovation(Xiamen). The event was attended by over 500 participants from more than 20 hospitals, over 200 schools, and approximately 30 enterprises.
Dr. Liu Zhenying, President of the International Alliance of Skills Development for Belt & Road and BRICS, Director of the Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Training Center under the China Association for Science and Technology, Chair of China Chapter of BRICS Business Council Skills Development, Applied Technology and Innovation Working Group, and President of BRICS Academy of Skills Development and Technology Innovation (Xiamen), attended the meeting and delivered a keynote report titled "BRICS+ National Achievement Design Assisting Chinese Enterprises and Vocational Education in Going Global." This conference invited five experts to deliver reports: Mr. Wu Jianfeng, Director of the Standards Department at BRICS Academy of Skills Development and Technology Innovation (Xiamen); Professor Liu Chen, former Director of the Academic Department at the National Health Commission's Capacity Building and Continuing Education Center; Professor Liu Zeyang, former Director of the Teaching and Research Office at Peking University's Medical Network Education College; Professor Xia Liping, Vice President of Jiangsu Vocational College of Nursing; and Professor Zhou Yan, Chief Judge of the First Health Care Vocational Skills (Geriatric Direction) Competition of the 2024 Belt & Road and BRICS Competition of Skills Development and Technology Innovation's. Director Wu Jianfeng: International curriculum development, standardization formulation, competition standard formulation Professor Liu Chen: Comprehensive Teaching Capacity Enhancement for Vocational College Teachers and the "Five Golden" Construction. Professor Liu Zeyang: Standardized Development and Evaluation of Caregiving Professions Leading the Practice of Competition. Professor Xia Liping: A Brief Discussion on the Construction of the Competency System for National-Level Skills Competition Judges. Professor Zhou Yan: Judging Model of WorldSkills Competition To promote the integration of schools and enterprises and support the high-quality development of vocational education, the conference also invited several experts and leaders from the healthcare and wellness sector to share their experiences, including Mr. Chen Qiang, General Manager of Xiamen Cube Magic 3D Technology Co., Ltd.; Mr. Gong Yugang, General Manager of Shandong Zezhong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.; Mr. Cao Zhongtao, General Manager of Beijing Medical Model Technology Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Lu Wei, General Manager of Beijing Huirui International Technology Development Co., Ltd. The successful hosting of this seminar will further promote the integration of universities and enterprises and the construction of international training bases, providing a better platform for showcasing vocational education abroad. The conference was organized by the International Alliance of Skills Development for Belt & Road and BRICS and the BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition Organizing Committee, and hosted by BRICS Academy of Skills Development and Technology Innovation (Xiamen) and Beijing Arc Health Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. Concurrently held events included the establishment meetings of the Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development International Alliance's Medical and Health Professional Committee and its sub-committees, as well as the pre-competition briefing and referee training sessions for the medical and health categories of the 2024 8th Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition.
