On August 24, the 16th China Inventors Forum, the Second Congress of the Eighth Council of China Association of Inventions, and the Invention Entrepreneurship Award Ceremony were successfully held in Beijing. The conference was presided over by Yu Huarong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of China Invention Association, and more than 500 people from the national scientific and technological circles, invention circles and entrepreneurs' representatives participated in this grand event offline and online. At the meeting, Mr. He Zhenfu, vice chairman of the board of directors, read out the additions and adjustments of the branches of China Invention Association, and the Industrial Internet Technology Innovation Branch of China Invention Association was officially settled in Xiamen BRICS Academy of Future Skill Development and Technology Innovation.
In order to pragmatically promote General Secretary Xi Jinping's major initiative of "establishing an innovation base for the BRICS partnership for a new industrial revolution", deepen cooperation among BRICS countries in the areas of policy coordination, talent training, project development, etc., and continue to implement the results of the BRICS Business Council's Skills Development Working Group on the establishment of the BRICS Skills Research Academy, the leaders of Xiamen's BRICS Innovation Base construction will be responsible for the establishment of the BRICS Skills Research Academy. Xiamen BRICS Innovation Base Construction Leading Group Office, Xiamen Torch Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee, Xiamen Jimei District People's Government, Xiamen Information Group Company Limited, and Beijing Jiake Xinxing Technology Company Limited will cooperate to jointly establish BRICS Academy of Future Skills Development and Technological Innovation(Xiamen) (hereinafter referred to as the "Academy") in 2021. (hereinafter referred to as "the Academy").
The Academy is a non-profit organization registered in December 2021, and is an important international cooperation project introduced by the Xiamen BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Innovation Base. Relying on the resource advantages of the BRICS Business Council and its Skills Development Working Group, the BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Innovation Base, the Belt and Road and BRICS International Alliance for Skills Development, the International Training Base for Talents of Future Technological Skills and Humanities Exchange, the Asian Welding Confederation, the International Society for Intelligent Manufacturing, the domestic and international cooperation units of the China Association of Invention, and the Center for Chinese-Foreign Humanities Exchanges under the Ministry of Education Based on Industry 4.0 as the core of intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, digital technology skills, and future technology skills, the Academy focuses on technology skills research, development, and standard formulation; international technology skills training and talent platform construction; international cooperative research and technology exchanges; transformation, incubation, and exhibition of research results; and technology skills consulting services, etc. The Academy has a board of directors and a board of directors. The Academy has set up a board of directors, a committee of experts and a board of supervisors in its organizational structure, and at the same time, it has set up a resource service center for each BRICS country, including the Brazil Resource Service Center, the Russia Resource Service Center, the India Resource Service Center, the South Africa Resource Service Center and the "BRICS+" Resource Service Center.
The China Invention Association was founded in 1985 in Beijing with the approval of the Central Government on the joint initiative of 135 leaders of the Party and the State, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and social activists. Participating in the joint initiative were Hu Jintao, Ni Zhifu, Zou Jiahua, Wang Zhaoguo, Song Jian, Zhang Jinfu, Wang Daohan and other leading cadres, Qian Xuesen, Huang Jiaqi, Jin Shanbao, Wang Daheng, Yan Dongsheng, Zhang Guangdou, Hou Xianglin, Shen Hong, Wu Heng and other members of the Academia at that time (now academicians), as well as Wang Chonglun and other inventors. The fundamental starting point of the initiative to set up the China Invention Association was to promote mass invention and creation activities.
After the establishment of the Association Comrade Nie Rongzhen was the honorary president, Comrade Wuheng was the president (1st, 2nd and 3rd), Liu Yandong and Nie Li were the vice-presidents, and Comrade Ni Zhifu was the chairman of the 4th National Council. Comrade Zhu Lilan was the chairman of the fifth and sixth councils, and Wang Xuan, Ni Zhifu and Nie Li were elected as honorary chairmen.On May 16, 2016,the seventh national congress of the Invention Association of China was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, and Li Keqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC Central Committee) and Premier of the State Council, gave important instructions on the convening of the congress and on the work of the Association of China's Inventions. Director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), former Executive Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, academician Pan Yunhe, was elected Chairman of the Seventh Council of the China Association of Invention, Yu Huarong was elected Executive Vice President and Secretary General, and Ma Yun, Wang Chuanfu , Zou Yuandong, Xu Shilong, Liu Pengzhi (female), Wang Xijuan (female), Fang Hanting, academician Yan Chuliang, and other 52 people were elected as Vice President and Executive Director, and employed "Academician Yuan Longping, the father of hybrid rice, was appointed as the advisor of China Invention Association, and Wang Yongmin, Bao Qifan and Cao Peisheng were appointed as the honorary vice-presidents.
The association implements the policy of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", mobilizes the enthusiasm for invention, innovation and entrepreneurship contained in the masses, guides and promotes mass invention, innovation and entrepreneurship activities, publicizes and popularizes the knowledge of invention, innovation and entrepreneurship, discovers and supports invention, innovation and entrepreneurship talents, protects the legitimate rights and interests of inventors, promotes the transformation and implementation of invention achievements, and plays a role in the close connection between inventors and the government as a "link". It also plays the roles of "link" and "bridge" in the close connection between inventors and the government, promotes the strategy of innovation-driven development, the strategy of military-civilian integration, and the strategy of a strong intellectual property rights country, continuously enhances the innovation vitality of the whole society, improves the capability of independent innovation, and contributes to the construction of an innovative country and the realization of the two "100-years" strategy. "We will work hard to build an innovative country, achieve the goal of two hundred years and realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. In its various activities, China Invention Association abides by China's Constitution, laws, regulations and national policies, and social morals.
Members of China Invention Association are divided into unit members and individual members. At present, as unit members, there are more than 300 invention associations and related enterprises and institutions established in provinces, cities, autonomous regions and cities with separate plans, and there are nearly 5,000 individual members.
The Ministry of Science and Technology and the State Intellectual Property Office are the business guiding units of the Association, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs is the management department of the Association. The Association is a member of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), and its daily work, including ideological and political work and party organization work, is under CAST. The superior organ of the Party Committee of the Association is the Work Committee of the Central and State Organs.
The business scope of China Invention Association includes: technical exchange, professional training, organizing exhibitions and consulting services. For the industrial Internet field, the Industrial Internet Technology Innovation Sub-committee will carry out the following businesses in combination with the business objectives of China Invention Association:
1. Technical exchanges: research on technical skills; formulation of group standards in the field of industrial Internet; organization of the Belt and Road and BRICS Countries Skill Development and Technological Innovation Distance Lecture Hall - Industrial Internet Development Forum;
2. professional training: internationalized training of technical and skilled talents; using competitions as training, continuously carrying out the BRICS Vocational Skills Competition and the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition, as well as organizing pre-competition training camps;
3. Holding exhibitions: organizing and setting up a virtual-reality exhibition platform in the field of industrial Internet; organizing the Youth Creator Competition;
4. consulting services: provide universities and enterprises with consulting and guidance services on industrial Internet technology innovation.
