On the afternoon of January 17, 2023, Mr. Li Ming, Deputy Director of Xiamen BRICS Office, and his delegation visited our Academy for research and exchange.
President Liu Zhenying firstly introduced to Deputy Director Li Ming the achievements of the Academy in 2022 and the work plan for 2023, and said that the five outcome designs of the BRICS Business Council (China) Skills Development Working Group in 2022 had been recognized by other BRICS countries, and that this year's overall work of the Academy still centered around these five outcome designs, and the focus of the work was mainly on the organization of the BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition and BRICS Vocational Skills Competition, the BRICS Skills Standards and Technology Competition, and the BRICS Skills Standards and Technology Competitions. The main focuses of the work are the organization of the BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition and the BRICS Vocational Skills Competition, the compilation of BRICS skills standards and technical standards, the practical training activities of the BRICS International Training Base for Future Skills, the long-lasting activities of the BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Lecture Series, and the study tours to the BRICS and the BRICS+ countries, and so on.
Li Ming, Deputy Director of Xiamen BRICS Innovation Base Construction Leading Group Office, highly affirmed and recognized the achievements of the Academy in 2022, and hoped that in the post-epidemic era, the Institute would continue its efforts and play a greater role in the construction of the BRICS International Training Base for Future Skills, the BRICS Competition for Skills Development and Technological Innovation and the BRICS Skills Competition, standards research and development, and international exchange activities. At the same time, Deputy Director Li Ming said that the city BRICS Office will continue to carry out the work of the BRICS series of activities, promote the docking of BRICS projects, enrich the connotation of BRICS cooperation, and form a regularized long-term mechanism.
After in-depth communication and exchanges, the two sides have reached a consensus around the joint promotion of the BRICS series of activities or project cooperation in the post epidemic era. Under the leadership of the municipal government and the BRICS Office, the Institute will continue to carry out BRICS-related series of activities in conjunction with its own annual work plan.
